The Cairns Autism Support Group 2010 Annual General Meeting

Hi Everyone

I thought it worth touching base to let you know the outcome of Saturday's AGM meeting for the Cairns Autism Support Group. It was nice to catch up with everyone and to get the 'official' duties out of the way for another year!

Many thanks to Brigitte for her work in the role of President over the past little while, I think we can all agree that she leaves big shoes to fill, however, I am sure that Richard will jump in with his usual enthusiasm and make the role his own.

We have some familiar faces back on the committee and some people in new roles. Thanks to everyone for stepping up. We look forward to another exciting year ahead!

At present, we have 98 paid up members. Our activities keep increasing, with more movie days and gym play days being organised right now. Details soon! I am also in discussions with regards to holding a kids christmas party this year at a safe, airconditioned complex - more details on that soon too! If you have any suggestions for activities, resources we should buy etc etc PLEASE let us know via email. We are here to support each other, so let's make it happen!
